Olivia Gonzalez

In addition to serving as Empire West’s General Manager, Olivia Gonzalez is its licensed broker of record providing real estate owners with a wealth of experience in not only property management but in brokering commercial deals and leases. Raised in the family business, Olivia spent several years working for a well-known Los Angeles real estate firm where she learned the ins and outs of real estate acquisition.
Olivia’s hands-on work experience covers virtually every area of property management. But it is her experience in real estate acquisitions that truly sets Empire West apart as she is able to assist owners who might want to sell or acquire different assets to build generational wealth.
Olivia is a graduate of California State University, Northridge with a Bachelor’s Degree in Art History. In her free time, she enjoys collecting art, Pilates, and hanging out with her two dogs, Charlie and Coco.

Julian Gonzalez
Agent/Property Supervisor
Julian Gonzalez is Empire West’s property supervisor, in charge of inspecting vacant apartments and getting them move-in ready to lease. He is a licensed real estate agent with the State of California Department of Real Estate. As a Los Angeles native, Julian knows the ins and outs of the San Fernando Valley and Greater Los Angeles’ diverse neighborhoods and loves to meet people to help them find a new home.
Julian’s priority is protecting owners’ investments by renting to only fully-vetted, responsible tenants. As the agent for tenants, Julian ensures that all vacant units are move-in ready and provide the right atmosphere for families and individuals. He is dedicated to Empire West’s mission of treating clients as a member of the family, and clients’ properties, as if they were his own.
Julian is a graduate of California State University, Northridge with a Bachelor’s Degree in the Arts. He loves viewing different architectural styles, attending art shows and performing karaoke.

Norma Gonzalez
Property Supervisor
Norma Gonzalez is Empire West’s property supervisor, responsible for initiating the routine property inspections required by the City of Los Angeles, Department of Housing, to ensure everything is up to code and that its properties are kept in excellent condition.
Norma also leads Empire West’s customer service greeting callers and routing them to the correct person to respond to their needs. She is on the front lines when it comes to meeting potential applicants to collect the necessary information to get them into the approval process for housing.
In her free time, Norma enjoys travelling, particularly to Mexico, where she frequently spends her holidays.
“I enjoy talking to people from different ethnicities where I can practice my native Spanish as well as my working English skills. I also value the flexibility my job which allows me to be both a mom and a fulltime worker.”
Guadalupe (Lupe) Ordaz
Maintenance Supervisor
Lupe Ordaz is Empire West’s maintenance supervisor, overseeing any maintenance requests, getting authorizations from owners, contacting vendors and ensuring the work is completed properly.
Lupe joined Empire West in 2013. She is well-versed in working with owners’ budgets, and her multitasking skills are put to good use at Empire West.
When she is not working, Lupe is active with her church. She loves sports events, knitting and spending time with her kids, taking them to see the sights all over L.A.

Sandra (Sandy) Viramontes
Accounting Supervisor
Sandy Viramontes is Empire West’s Accounting Supervisor, a role she has maintained for over twenty-five years. Sandy oversees all of Empire West’s day-to-day accounting tasks, including: collection of rent, handling payments, filing and reconciliating bills and processing deposits and move-outs. She is absolutely meticulous in her record keeping and is a great asset in the work that she does. She also lends a helping hand, behind the scenes, assisting other team members when needed.
A San Fernando Valley native and a devoted mom to two young adults, Sandy enjoys sports events and is an avid L.A. Dodgers fan.
Charlie “Carlitos”
El Jefe (The Boss)
Charlie, our 15-lb., 9-year-old black mini poodle, has been with the company since he was seven-weeks old and has never missed a day of work. He comes to work every single day with his tail wagging providing a welcome presence to all who come by.
Charlie is the ambassador of Empire West and he loves the role he plays. When he is not busy greeting people, he can be found taking a sunbath in the office yard or sleeping in his bed under Olivia’s desk.
